    Hi Terri
I just wanted to take a minute and thank you for all of your great blogs entries and video postings. My husband and I are in the process of moving ourselves and our twin 6-year olds to Ras Tanura (we are both teachers.) Your blog has offered us insight and humor. We love it. 🙂 ~Vicki

    • Hello Vicki,

Thanks for stopping by and for your kind words. I happy that you’ve found the information that I’m sharing helpful. Have a great day!!

    Hi Terri!
I love how honest and candid you are about everything and that you say what needs to be said (ex: tampons). That is seriously an important issue, yet some would not be willing to mention. I am looking forward to our move to Udhailiyah and it’s partly due to your video’s preparing me for the adventure. I hope maybe one day we will have the chance to meet in person, as I think you would make a great friend 🙂

I look forward to any comments or updates you make and enjoy any tips you have to share! Keep ’em coming!

PS, I noticed we own the same lamps! lol

    • Thanks Michelle! I’m happy to hear that my videos have been of some help to you. If you ever get out to RT, reach out to me. Have a great day!! Terri

    Hi Terri,
I have found your blog and YT videos to be very helpful. My hubby moved to Saudi Arabia back in March. I remember how difficult you said it was for you to quit your U.S. job and follow hubby. That’s where I am stuck right now. I am a teacher and I am coming to the close of the school year. It’s decision time. Do I return to my current job in the Fall or do I leave it behind and join my hubby in SA. What are teaching opportunities for female expats on the Saudi Aramco compounds? Are females allowed to work on the compound in other capacities?

    • There are opportunities for women to teach. It will depend on your husband’s employer, if you’re able to work out not. If he’s working with Aramco, you could probably find something with Aramco, or on the compound.

  4. Hello Terry,

I did laugh when you said that the tampon is difficult to find OMG I need them everywhere when my time of period is there.

  5. Hey Terri, Good videos, I have been offered a job with Aramco just waiting to go thru checks and medical. We are from Scotland and are expecting a real culture shock. The job is in Dammam, I was wondering what the accomodation was like within the compound? We are quite nervous about coming over to be honest, probably no different than anyone else!

Your videos and blogs are really interesting and you your always very positive about KSA

  6. Hello,

    How are you!

Are you still in Saudi Arabia!
